Black salt, also known as kala namak or Himalayan black salt, comes from the salt mines of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and other Himalayan locations. Or so we thought. Dr. Guy Hatchard recently found out, to his shock, that the black salt we purchase in supermarkets is not a mineral mined from nature but is a manufactured blend of chemicals, including fluoride. “For years I have been unwittingly poisoning myself,” he said.
